MEET ANTHONY
Anthony Lemons
Owner & Lead Trainer, Sanctus K9
Certified American Standard K9 Dog Trainer
Will Atherton Academy — Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour & Training
I’m Anthony, owner and lead trainer of Sanctus K9 and a Fort Worth dog trainer focused on building reliable obedience for real life. My approach to training was shaped in part by years of competing and coaching as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, where I learned the importance of clear communication, consistency, accountability, and timing.

My focus is simple: build reliable obedience that works in real life and give owners the skills and confidence to maintain it. I intentionally keep Sanctus K9 low-volume and in-home so I can personally work with each dog and develop behavior that translates beyond a training facility.

I’m also committed to continually expanding my understanding of dogs through professional education and other facets of the field, including decoy work and the study of working dogs, genetics, drive, and behavior under pressure.
THE SANCTUS STANDARD
Sanctus K9 was created because I believe owners should expect more from professional dog training: more individual attention, more transparency, more real-world training, and results that transfer to the person actually living with the dog.
That means keeping the program intentionally low-volume, training dogs in real environments, educating owners just as seriously as we train their dogs, and remaining available after the dog goes home.
REAL-WORLD RELIABILITY
Training should work outside of a controlled training environment.
OWNER EDUCATION
The goal is not to create a dog that only listens to a trainer. Owners are taught how to maintain and continue the work.
INDIVIDUALIZED TRAINING
Every dog is trained based on the dog in front of us, not a one-size-fits-all system.
LIFETIME SUPPORT
Support does not end when the dog goes home.
